my rating: 5/5 stars
It's been three months since Amy was unplugged. The life she always knew is over. And everywhere she looks, she sees the walls of the spaceship Godspeed. But there may just be hope: Elder has assumed leadership of the ship. He's finally free to enact his vision - no more Phydus, no more lies.
But when Elder discovers shocking news about the ship, he and Amy race to discover the truth behind life on Godspeed. They must work together to unlock a puzzle that was set in motion hundreds of years earlier, unable to fight the romance that's growing between them and the chaos that threatens to tear them apart.
My Review: oh my STARS! What a FREXING good book! (don't mind the godspeed humor) Uhh! why oh WHY do I have to wait another year to read Shades of Earth?!?! I can't. It's not possible! But alas, I must. And while I wait I'm just going to keep thinking about this book and how amazing it was; from the blossoming romance between Amy and Elder, to all the twists and turns that left me speechless and throwing my book across the room in astonishment.
A Millions suns was even better than the first! Now that the ship is off phydus, things are getting very heated on Godspeed, and boy did we see a lot of that in this book! Elder's leadership skills were really tested in this book and I was so glad to see him as a much stronger and brave person. Not only that, but Amy and Elder's relationship continued to develop throughout the story which I loved, of course because I can't get enough of these two. Their romance is so enticing! There is just something about it that other YA romances can't compare to. Oh, this book makes me wish there were more YA dystopian sci-fi's out there!
Mrs. Revis, thank you oh-so much for that enthralling entertainment. oh, and one more thing: DON'T STOP WRITING. EVER.
